Notes The bottom of this flat dish shows two deer against a background of lotus flowers and plant leaves, while the edge is decorated with a band depicting flying creatures and parrots surrounded by the same floral and floral elements. The design, with a layer of white slip lining on a gray-green background, is directly inspired by Chinese silk textiles and lacquerware.
