Notes	The shape of this ewer, with its handles ending with dragon heads, came from Iran in the Timurid era. On the body of the ewer, amid the decoration with Ottoman hunting scenes, there are images of imaginary and real animals. On the paradisiacal scenes on the neck: there are two naked figures under a tree, a person holding a musical instrument, and domestic animals. The animal style originated in silverwork in the German Renaissance and was based on the inheritance of Christian Balkan workshops before it was transferred to Iznik ceramics.
