Notes	The oversized men's coat, which reaches half the thighs, is embroidered with a pattern of people, cypress trees, trees with blooming flowers, and small ponds. The crowned men were under the trellises. Next to them was a guard carrying a bow and arrow, and a woman carrying a peacock. Similar figures on fabrics and in miniatures in the sixteenth century show that the intricately designed type of dress was widespread. Heavily decorated items similar to clothing were given as gifts from rulers to their courtiers and were not intended for regular use.
