Notes
Covered vessel, blue-painted relief medallions under a transparent glazed cover, and decoration with metallic lustre. On a white background, in the form of segmented horizontal tables, are distributed shapes consisting of what resemble writings engraved in lush Kufic script, interspersed with round medallions with elements in the form of flowers and scrolls. The lid has the same decorative scheme that we find on the belly of the bowl. But we cannot be certain of the function of this piece. It is possible that it was a vessel for functional use or a decorative piece, or that it fulfilled both purposes.
