Notes This painting was originally considered an architectural decoration, as it was intended to fill places on walls or spaces in royal palaces. It shows two themes, the life of the character Abbas Mirza and a battle scene. The portraits are distinguished by their high level of detail and the variety of color combinations (mainly pink, royal blue, turquoise, and translucent green). An important feature of this painting is the background scene which shows the troops and soldiers wearing European-style clothing. This shows the importance of modernization in Abbas Mirza's army. This is a common theme in many of Abbas Mirza's portraits. But the special thing that is important here is the one soldier who is looking directly at us and who is larger than the other soldiers and therefore has a higher status. More important. It is believed that the picture of this soldier is a personal painting by Muhammad Hassan (123 AH / 1818 AD).
