Date The twelfth century AH / the eighteenth century AD, the wording was the beginning of the thirteenth century AH / the beginning of the nineteenth century AD.
Notes The shape of the emerald at the center of this pendant was determined by its crystal structure, which is naturally octagonal. The final design was specially made to complement the hexagonal shape of the emerald and is surrounded by diamonds of multiple shapes and sizes in individual formations of gold. At the top of the ornament are six pearl crowns, each of which includes a large pearl topped with a single green bead. At the bottom of the ornament there are three gold rings from which three teardrop-shaped emeralds are suspended.
