Notes
This illustrated manuscript by Saadi Bostan features false publisher codes and four plates, all supposedly by the 20th-century artist Torabi Beg Khorasani. Torabi Beg was active during the first decades of the 20th century - the last years of the Qajar Empire. As is confirmed by the paintings in this manuscript by Bostan, some of them are reminiscent of those painted by “Haft Orange” known as Jami (Mashhad, 1555-65) in the Freer Gallery of Art and he is famous for recreating Reviving the Safavid style.
