| Notes | This gold ring is decorated with visible perforation and roughening. On the rectangular lobe are two human figures in a frontal position framing a figure that can be considered either a tree of life or a temple of fire. On the sides there are depicted facing birds and a crowned male head, the latter reminiscent of similar shapes with a special style on Persian ceramic vessels of the Seljuk era. A similar ring is located in the Meir Institute of Islamic Art in Jerusalem. |
