A part of a body consisting of a partial edge and a complete base. The rim has a flange of semicircular cross-section, resting on a high annular shank; The color of the dough is light brown to pink; The two surfaces offer a slightly glossy white bonded enamel. The inner surface has a green-painted star shape with eight rays of equal dimensions arranged from the centre. Through the quality and softness of its paste, this flat hemispherical cup suggests the opulent atmosphere and domestic uses of the city of Silves during that time.
