Notes
Decorated with clear black lines on a blue background, this bottle combines the design and color palette used in Chinese art with the Persian representation of oriental elements, and features three partridges in alternating arrangement with huge lotus flowers. Such vessels were designed to compete with Chinese porcelain in the markets at the local and international levels.
