Notes The Palestinians of Hebron and the surrounding villages called this type of ethnic head covering. It is in a circular shape with a defined center, and is decorated with dense miniatures with geometric decorations with cross stitches in red and black. As for its back part, Ottoman silver pieces were hung. Hair wraps (wraps) in various colors, as well as thin black ribbons fixed on either side of the head covering, are modern accessories. This type of headdress is still worn in the Hebron region from the late thirteenth / nineteenth century until the present day. During the British Mandate in Palestine, the hair head (which was used to tie the hair into a round bun that rested on the back of the neck) was much longer and made of braided woolen threads. He made the headdress for everyday use.
