Notes This mosque lamp consists of two parts whose original production dates differ by a hundred years from each other. The upper part - the oldest - bears the following inscription: “Glory to our Lord, the Sultan, King Al-Mansur, the Supporter of the World and the Religion, the Father of Virtues, Muhammad bin Sultan, King Al-Mansur, and may God grant him a mighty victory.” Al-Nasir Muhammad ruled with interruptions from the year 1293 to 1341. The lower part of the lamp is of crowned princes and musicians and is from the first half of the thirteenth century.
