Notes
The piece is a saddle cover with a hirtay pattern in the corners of the arch. The main blue area has a niche-like compartment with an opening for the saddle, which is defined by a yellow and red band with lines framed in white, yellow, blue and red. The corner of the arch has a flowered pattern of needle leaves, palmettes and rosettes in white, yellow, blue, red, green and black on an orange-red background. The border consists of three bands of floral shapes in yellow, blue, and red on a blue ground (central band) and yellow ground (inner and outer bands).
