Notes A large cupboard, with three horizontal openings, each closed by two small doors, one of which was already lost before the piece entered the museum. Its general arrangement and dimensions lead one to think that this cupboard was used to store laundry or folded clothes. The group is decorated with intricate interlacing decoration that harmonizes with the arrangement of the cells. The general structure of the facade consists of a wide area furnished with simple pieces of eight-branched star plate lattices. Between the frame and the panels, there are three rectangular boxes, whose width is twice their height. Each of them is closed by small square doors. It is also decorated with geometric shapes. The small doors of the upper and lower parts have a similar design: a rose decoration with eight points carved in a square center. While the decoration of the central part remains more complex, as it consists of interlacing that creates a ten-pointed rose decoration in the middle, surrounded by two similar pink star halves. Inside, we find the same decoration. The external painting has largely disappeared, but we discovered remnants of colors during a recent restoration: in blue, red, white and black. In contrast, the interior paint - the ceiling and the cornices - have been completely preserved. On the ceiling are arranged octagons that meet through their peaks, complete with white circles on a black background; While the friezes are decorated with multi-lobed arches, highlighted by white lines encircling similar structures created from interlacing. The corners are decorated with stylized foliage decorations, underneath which the word “Blessing” is reproduced in inscription in Kufic letters.
