Notes Mudéjar style ceiling paneling, made of alfarje-treated oak. The ceiling is richly decorated and contains sharp, overlapping interlacings that form stars with 8 to 16 ends. The complexity of the central figure, clearly reproduced in the zellige, gives great dynamism to the composition; The liveliness of the form increases with the multi-colour and the remains of gilding that are still clearly visible. The date of making this ceiling is known (1477), and we know that it formed part of the work process initiated by the Bishop - Count of Coimbra, Dr. João Galvão (1460 – 1481) in his cathedral.
