Notes
This pulpit consists of seven steps held together by two pentagonal sides, decorated with panels assembled with tongues and panels in the form of triangles, squares, and trapezoids. A small broken arch stands on the threshold of the stairs, resting on two supports decorated with floral decoration. This structure was connected to the sides by two small side arches of the same height, which in turn rested on two supports attached to the upper part of the sides with a railing. The upper part of this entrance is decorated with candelabra. The panels are carved in bas-reliefs decorated with floral or geometric decoration. The front small arch bears a floral decoration and inscription in calligraphy matching the shape of the small arch, including the following text: On the right vertical pillar: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Empty from this pulpit”; And on the crossbar: “On the first of the month of Rajab”; On the left vertical pillar is “Mansanah, four hundred and ninety-four (1079 AD). Work of Muhammad.”
