The Arab baths, which still bear this name, are located a few kilometers from the city of Palermo, in the municipality of Cevalla Diana. Its building consists of an internal courtyard with an area of (11 As for the parapet columns, they form a type of Corinthian art, and they have pottery capitals in the shape of cups. The smaller room is close to the hot water, and contains a basin, and the larger room contains three basins, and the water temperature of each basin is lower than the temperature of the other, so that one can bathe at different temperatures. As for the walls, they include several cavities, designated for placing clothes and personal belongings, and between the ribs of the overlapping arches there are ventilation holes to expel excess steam. The sanitary installation network was built underground, and it ensures the flow of water: filling or draining, and some of its parts are still present. On the exterior of the building there is an inscription on three of the four walls, most of which has disappeared due to time. As for the date of construction, we do not have firm evidence to determine it, although there is a belief that there was a first phase of construction, dating back to the Greek or Roman era, represented by: (the surrounding walls); A second stage dating back to the era of Arab rule is represented by: (dividing columns and barriers); And a third stage, dating back to the Norman era, is represented by: (tying bundles on the columns). There is another belief that says that we are facing a complete architectural building from the Norman era, in comparison with other similar buildings from the era of Guglielmo II.
