Notes A typical jug, often used for pouring water, with a cylindrical, lobed body, a wide base, a thin cylindrical neck, a flat shoulder, a spout, and a handle. The body consists of divisions in two sizes, the wider parts are decorated with floral shapes inlaid with silver and copper, while the narrower parts have inscriptions in Kufic script with some floral decorations. There are inscriptions in kufic script on the shoulder and base, which are optimistic phrases to bring good luck to the owner of the jug. On the neck there is a hammered animal decoration of a lion surrounded by inscription bands, and this decoration is repeated on the spout.
