Notes
The decoration of the plate represents a knight, and covers the entire area. The facial features indicate that it is of Mongolian origin, and the decoration represents raised petals, flowers, and plants. This decoration is distinguished by its perfection, the selection of its colors, and its installation, as it is done in many stages of immediate preparation. This model belongs to an artistic class called in Persian, Haft-Rang, and its Arabicization is (meaning seven colors): (red, dark blue, green, yellow, gold, white, black) spread over a layer of glass. It sometimes appears as prominent designs covered with a layer of gold, as in this example.
