It is written on the front side: “Say, ‘He is God, One, God is the Eternal, He begot and was not born, and there is no one equal to Him.’” And on the edges: “This dinar was minted in the name of God in the year 84 AH” (84 AH / 703 AD). The back side: “There is no god but God, alone with no partner.” And on the edges: “Muhammad is the Messenger of God whom He sent with the true religion, and may God grant him victory over all sects.”
