Notes
The amulet is made of white stone and red agate stone in oval shape. And within its borders there is a line from the Throne Verse in Naskh script, which reads: “Allah, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting. Neither sleep nor sleep can overtake Him, since He who intercedes with Him except by His permission. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not comprehend any of His knowledge, except by what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and His preservation of them does not hinder Him, and He is the Most High, the Great.” And the final words of the verse are placed in the center of the incantation, which says: “And He The highest and greatest.
