Notes This ceramic bowl is decorated with a bird painted in cobalt blue, turquoise and crimson manganese under the glaze. It was made using the Laqbi technique, which uses either submersible or embossed lines to prevent the glass from flowing during grilling. This allowed complex patterns to be formed and glass of different colors to be used side by side.
