Notes
Changes in decoration to Iznik ceramics took place around 1540. The very dense patterns of Baba Naqash and Tughrakes were replaced by a style dominated by plants. The palm frond is also dominated by moss green and manganese. These tiles, with irises, tulips and cherry branches, were designed in such a way that two of them were needed to form a complete shape.
