Notes A ceramic dish that was restored from a fragment that represented only a section of the lip and bottom of the dish. The missing part was reshaped with plaster, which allowed the general shape of the dish to be restored. The original part reveals a soft brown paste, and at the level of the lip there is a green geometric decoration applied with a feather, which consists of three concentric semi-circles. A few traces of paint remained on the lip and on the bottom, which suggests that this decoration was repeated symmetrically along the lip and in the center of the dish, which rests on a ring-shaped base. The smoothness of the dough indicates that this is a luxurious vessel.
Sample Text Houria Cherid “Dish” in Discover Islamic Art. Museum Without Borders, 2026. https://islamicart.museumwnf.org/database_item.php?id=object;ISL;dz;Mus01;24;ar
