Notes
After the fall of Seringapatam in 1799 AD, this gun was given to Lord Crownwallis (1738-1805 AD), the Governor-General and Commander of the British Army during the Third Anglo-Mysore War (1789-1792 AD). The weapon was considered a trophy/trophy. The pistol is rich in images of tigers, with the full shape of a tiger on the butt of the weapon, and distinctive bubri shapes on the barrel, and there are also engravings on various parts of the pistol. The pictures of tigers attacking a European soldier on the side plate of the gun represent propaganda by Tipu to discredit the British East India Company. The gun had advanced technology at the time, as its user could fire twice continuously with only one trim.
