The camel that would carry the Egyptian loader was specially chosen for its shape as well as its strength. He was sought out and selected by a special employee at the Kiswa House and was draped in richly embroidered fabrics as he paraded through the streets of Cairo and other major cities on his way to Mecca and back. The Qur’anic inscription from Surah An-Nahl, verse 7 is spot on. He says, “And you carry your burdens to a country where you did not reach it except with difficulty. Indeed, your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. “The cotton lining bears the trademark of a company in Manchester, England, consisting of an open hand bearing the name, perhaps Abraham Hrawi, in Arabic.
