On one side of the piece, in the middle, there is a palm tree shape and traces of columns forming an arch from the middle of which a lamp hangs. Unfortunately, the upper part of the arch is missing. On the other side of the piece, there is an image of a camel with her newborn. Shapes similar to those found on the piece of ivory are seen on one of the soapstone vessels that was also found at the Al-Fudain site in Mafraq. Chess pieces made of ivory and other ivory pieces were also found. The purpose of this piece is not entirely clear, but it may have been a decorative element in the palace.
