Notes
A vessel with a spherical cavity resting on a ring-shaped foot; At the top of the vessel is a neck in the shape of a tulip, its height almost equal to the height of the hollow. The two loops that start from the neck are based on the upper part of the hollow. The dough is thin and well-grilled, and the inner surfaces are very thin. A dark manganese oxide paint covers the lugs, decorates the neck and the top of the neck. There are two consecutive fields on the neck, and on the upper part there is a strip of paint decorated with incised and repeated decorative elements in the form of semi-circles with shared centers. It is followed by a frieze consisting of Arabic naqsh decorations, divided by slightly curved vertical lines, resembling decorative script letters. She appears to have clumsily imitated the word "Allah." The hollow also has the same decorative arrangement and decoration. This type of drinking vessel, or small jar, with an elegant shape and almost written decoration that relies on a mixed technique that combines painting and cutting, was also widespread in the same period in southern Andalusia.
