Notes
A panel consisting of six pieces of wall tile, painted underglaze in the range of colors characteristic of the mature Iznik style. The side edges are composed of wide green bands with trellis vine branches as well as a pointed arch-shaped pattern. The corners above it are filled with red and white arabesques on a dark blue ground, while the space below is filled with a symmetrical main formation composed of realistic flowers and large-scale arabesque patterns on a bright white ground without crowding. The figure appears to be cut off at the bottom, indicating that it represented the upper part of a larger composition.
