Notes
A photograph from the late nineteenth century depicts a group of wandering dervishes who reject the world and whose outward appearance suggests that they are not concerned with social conventions. One member of this group of dervishes carries a bowl - where he makes his living by begging. It is clear that Sufis are known in Europe as faqir or dervish, and in Arabic and Persian it means poor. Poverty and lack of property are the essential advantages of their life. They are pious and life-denying people who view everything as temporary and fleeting and reject existing traditions, principles and principles. The goal of these individuals is to reach and understand God as the final truth. According to their program, these are friends of God who have contributed greatly to the spread of Islam since the Middle Ages. Wherever they went, they preached and preached their ideas - without religious sophistry - and their open-minded interpretation of humanity and Islam, and they always paid the price for their actions with their lives, until today.
