Notes An indoor wall rug composed of three pieces of coarse brown linen, sewn together and embroidered with blue, red, yellow and green silk using the ruff stitch. The overall composition consists of oblique, abstract carnations alternating with pairs of lavender flowers emerging from webbed, bisected leaves serrated on either side. The central composition is surrounded by a wavy frame.
