The three largest flowers bear wavy, winding bands within their inner space, and these bands are repeated in smaller form around the base of the bouquet. The artist worked to give life to the composition by representing flowers in a swaying state, avoiding the harsh symmetrical shape, which is one of the characteristics of the best Iznik ceramics.
