Notes
A large plate of Karaman embroidery, made of a white composite material, with leafy floral designs incised on a cobalt blue lining so that the white material is visible underneath. The edge of the plate is inspired by the shape of shells, based on the Chinese style. The base of the dish is covered from the inside with a layer of transparent, blue-coloured glaze, and on it is a circle containing the maker's signature in the form of a tassel.
