Notes
This incense burner is stupidly of a special style or falcon and belongs to a small group of distinct bronze statues/sculptures with quite a high degree of probability of being from the Umayyad period in Spain. The bird stands on strong claws perched on a ball which may be placed on a long base. The body is engraved with feathers, palm leaves, and inscribed in Kufic calligraphy.
