Notes This necklace includes ten turquoise stones with oval and polygonal shapes. The turquoise stones are connected using small rose-shaped spacers made of enamelled gold. The engravings and decorative paper designs on turquoise stones gilded with gold, and the inscriptions in Nasta'liq script, are reminiscent of special phrases dedicated to special and important individuals. Turquoise, or turquoise, which means victory, is a national color in Iran and was the favorite color for the domes of mosques, inside and out, as it symbolizes the heavens.
