Date The beginning of the eighteenth century
Notes The water bowl and tobacco bowl are elements of the hookah or haqqa. Both are decorated in translucent cloisonné and champlevé enamel with flowers, leafy branches, and angels (peri) beautifully dressed and wearing jewelry offering gifts. There are no known pieces of Indian treasure to match this rich enamel decoration. Mark Zebrowski attributed the truth to a workshop at the beginning of the eighteenth century in Mewar in the Rajput state.
