Notes
This flat bowl with a ring base shows a specially styled bird with a crown of feathers on its head. It is painted on white clay paint. The outer borders of the bird are painted in black, and its body, wings and tail are filled with olive green, black and red. Around the bird, the bowl is decorated with flowers and vines, and the frame is decorated with black dots. It was probably produced either in Nishapur or Amul.
