Notes The Iznik pottery makers were passionate about nature which inspired them to develop new designs to increase the range of colors and later they were inspired by the Chinese blue and white colors and the Iznik pottery makers introduced the debate. According to the Chinese tradition of blue and white, it was also conservative for some time, and the designs consisted of lobed leaves with wavy tips. Initially, these had different shades of blue and small touches of turquoise, which were added as the style evolved.
