Notes The feature of symmetry and parallelism of geometric shapes prevails in all types of Omani craft industries, and the foundations of these works are built on the use of spherical, hemispherical, cylindrical, pyramidal and funnel shapes, in addition to cubes and saws. These shapes are used in the pottery, metal, palm, textile, wood and architectural industries. Cylindrical and spherical shapes have a property that makes them give strength to pottery vessels and building towers and columns. And their domes.
