Notes Bahla Mosque is located near Bahla Castle, and some date its establishment to the era of Caliph Omar bin Al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) (13-24 AH / 634-644 AD), but the oldest written history revealed so far is in one of the cylinders, which bears the date (528 AH / 33-1134 AD).
