Notes A bottle with a spherical stomach, a cylindrical neck, and a concave base. It contains an inscription dedicated to the Mamluk Sultan: “Glory be to our master, the Sultan, King Al-Ashraf, the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful,” in ascending cursive letters (Thuluth script), blue in color over a background of floral decoration made up of pink and green leaves, separated by two medallions. This inscription wraps around the neck repeating the word All-Knowing. The upper part of the bottom of the bottle is covered with soft tree branches, the leaves of which are surrounded by red and intertwined with folded scrolls containing brightly colored trifoliate figures, and six round medallions containing gilded abbey hall figures preserved on a blue background.
