Notes
A bowl with slanted and open walls, a ring-shaped base, decorated with a drawing in the form of a large, imaginary animal with wings with the head of a bird. Drawings of imaginary animals were seen in many areas of art in the late Islamic era, influenced by Persian art, which tends to repel envy in supernatural ways. On the upper body of the bowl we find overlapping lines representing the eyes of a peacock, and on each of the wings drawn with parallel lines resembling feathers, we find small writings in Kufic script, like a prayer for blessing (to the owner of the piece) and large leaves in the shape of arrows that adorn the walls of the bowl with a metallic lustre. The word has been written at the bottom of the base. Blessing.
