Notes
A jar-shaped lantern with six rings for hanging and a high, conical stem. It contains a repeated inscription on the neck of the bottle and on the belly: “This is one of the vessels made for the shrine of Prince Allan al-Din Ali, son of His Excellency Saif al-Din Baktamur al-Hajib (adviser), may God have mercy on him.” Three emblems divide the lantern into equal pieces at the neck, while three other emblems alternate with simple arabesque decorations surrounding the lower belly panel. On the stem of the lantern, three medallions appear embracing simple trifoliate shapes. The circular logo is divided into three fields: the upper and lower areas are white, while the central field represents the image of a horse with a dome-shaped structure above the back.
