| Notes | A pair of doors were found dismantled as parts of a stone coffin in Iraq. The main decorative theme is the shape of a tree with geometric and architectural images surrounded by coils of vines and leaves. The group of three elements and the richly engraved decoration can be traced back to architectural decoration in late Umayyad art as seen in desert palaces such as Mshatta and Qasr Tuba. |
