Notes What were previously two separate volumes are now one volume that makes up this small manuscript. The first half of the manuscript consists of the sixth sura of the Qur’an, copied in the inscription script, while the second half consists of the 73rd sura, copied in the third script, with alternating lines in black and gold ink, and it is signed by the calligrapher Yusuf Ibn Abdullah. The exquisite leather used to bind the manuscript is protected by placing it in a red velvet bag decorated with epigraphic patterns and inscriptions embroidered with metal threads.
