The façade of the lintel is covered with a layer of plaster on which is carved in relief an image of a leopard chasing a gazelle. This piece reminds us of the types of animals that roamed the region during the Umayyad period, and participated in the hunting game that the Umayyad court practiced as a form of entertainment. This piece leaves a strong impression on the viewer as a painting rather than a stone sculpture.
