Notes	We know exceptionally that this Qur’an was issued at the request of Fatima, a nursemaid of the Zirid prince Al-Muizz Ibn Badis. The Qur’an was completed in January 1020, and according to the copyist’s code, it was written and punctuated to indicate the vowels. It was bound by the same person, Ali Ibn Ahmad al-Warraq, and presented as a donation by Fatima to the Grand Mosque in Kairouan.
