Notes
This carved wooden chair, with curved armrests and a finely crafted backrest, is heavily inlaid with small pieces of ivory and other woods, the pieces being predominately triangular in shape, formed into bands of hexagons and interconnecting hexagons on the outer surfaces of the chair. The high seat is upholstered with a William Morris-like design of three-pointed sprinkles of peach blossom alternating with white iris sprinkles, all on a yellow background.
