The wall of the container, made of slightly yellow glass, is cut. The craftsman defined rectangular registers, surrounded by two lines engraved in the material. The largest of these (which extends over more than half the perimeter of the belly, and measures 8 cm high), includes a horse. The animal is moving, its front legs thrown out in front of it. Although simple and stylized, the design is detailed. The hooves, like the pointed ears and the eye, are indicated. The muzzle is highlighted by a series of chevrons, just like the mane. The tail, for its part, is filled with horizontal streaks. The horse is harnessed: the saddle is filled with guilloches. Another triangular piece, also highlighted by a guilloche, is visible at the base of the neckline. The background is furnished with geometric shapes: two circles (one near the head, the other near the horse's rump), and a diamond, partly decorated with chevrons. Another rectangular register, 5 cm high, follows that of the horse. It is decorated with a palmette. It is surmounted by another decoration, lacunar: a circle enclosed by two squares on the tip. This careful decoration extends to the base of the object. Three triangles, distributed regularly around the perimeter of the base, have been cut.
