Notes	Manuscript. 30 lines per page, European laid paper (watermark: lion passant guardian; C N A and I M C?). Fully vocalized small Naskh script in black, catch words. Test is arranged into two medallions per page within a rectangular panel. The script is characterised by the unsystematic use of tarawīs. The codex opens with an illuminated double page frontpiece, now rubbed and damaged. Numerous floral designs in the margins. The Margins carry a number of corrections and the word ḥizb. Executed by Muḥammad al-Ḥilmī, a pupil of Muḥammad al-'Alā'ī Muḥammad 'Abd Allāh. According to the colophon this is the sixth copy by the transcriber. Incipit: ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ... Explicit: مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ.
